Lotus is a sculptural light fixture. Made of acrylic pieces with a light in the flower’s center, this piece is a source of meditation and warmth. Placed in the room’s center, viewers are drawn through the dark room towards the light. A prism hangs from the ceiling, resting several inches above the flower’s center. Only barely visible in the dim light, it reflects slightly as it floats above. Gathering around the flower, audiences become mesmerized in the geometric shadows the piece makes on the floor, as well as the shadows of themselves made large on the walls.
